- Disk Space
- The total amount of disk space that is allocated to your account (in megabytes). This disk space is used to store your Subversion repositories, Trac issues and wiki pages, all the files uploaded to the WebDAV virtual disk and your daily downloadable backup.
- Monthly Data Transfer
- The amount of network data you are permitted to transfer per month. Having reasonable data transfer limits helps ensure that we can provide maximum performance to all users. Our servers additionally support realtime data compression to help minimise your network usage and ensure maximum performance.
- Subversion Repositories
- Subversion is the industry standard open-source revision control system that is a compelling replacement for CVS. ProjectHut plans provide multiple Subversion repositories, each with full support for user and group access permissions.
- Trac Projects
- Trac is a web-based software project management and bug/issue tracking system. It provides an interface to your Subversion repositories, an integrated wiki documentation system and convenient reporting facilities, with the additional security of user and group based access permissions.
- WebDAV storage
- Each plan comes with a WebDAV network storage area. This shared area can be mapped as a network drive on your users' computers and used as a convenient method for sharing important files. Access to the WebDAV storage area is authenticated so only authorised users can access your data.
- Unlimited Users
- Each plan supports any number of users, each with their own username/password and associated Subversion and Trac access permissions. Unlike other providers, we do not impose artificial restrictions on the number of users in your account.
- Unlimited Groups
- Each plan supports any number of groups. Groups define a collection of users which share the same Subversion and Trac access permissions (e.g. 'developer', 'tester', 'support', etc). Unlike other providers, we do not impose artificial restrictions on the number of groups in your account.
- Hourly Off-Site Backup
- Every hour a full snapshot of all the data in your account is taken and stored off-site in a geographically redundant location (including Subversion repositories, Trac databases, WebDAV files and user/group permissions). In addition, separate nightly backups are also taken and stored off-site. For your convenience and added piece of mind, we also provide free downloadable backups so you can store your own additional copy of your data somewhere safe.
- Secure HTTPS Access
- Access to all the data in your account data is strictly via a secure HTTPS connection with full 256-bit encryption. This ensures that all your data is kept private when transferred over the network. Additionally, full support is provided for Subversion and Trac permissions to ensure that only correctly authorised users have access to your data.
- Subversion Permissions
- Users and Groups can be assigned specific permissions that restrict or grant read/write access to specific directories in your Subversion repositories. For example, you may wish to make your repository read-only (or forbidden) by the public, yet writable by your authenticated users. Similarly, you might choose to assign responsibility to various parts of your repository to specific roles, thereby preventing accidental writes by unauthorized users.
- Trac Permissions
- Each Trac project supports a number of permissions that control access to various Trac features. These permissions can be assigned to Users and Groups to give you complete control over who and how they can access your Trac tickets and Wiki. For example, you might choose to allow anonymous users read access to your Wiki pages and submit support tickets, but only allow your registered users to respond or close tickets and update the Wiki.
- Trac Ticket Emails
- All Trac projects support unlimited ticket change notification emails. For example, when a user creates a new Trac ticket, they can be instantly notified by email whenever the ticket is updated or its status changes. Likewise, users may instantly be notified by email whenever a new ticket is assigned to them. This ensures your users always stay up-to-date on all the changes relevant to them.
- Free Personalised Subdomain
- Personalise your plan by choosing your own free subdomain address to access your data (in the form https://mycompany.projecthut.com). This allows you to brand your account in a professional manner and makes it simple for your users to remember the URLs to access your data.
- Free Downloadable Backups
- Every ProjectHut plan has the option to automatically generate a daily downloadable backup of all your Subversion and Trac data. A full hotcopy of each Subversion repository and Trac database is archived, along with all your user and group permission settings. This backup archive is made available in your WebDAV area so you can download it directly or via an automated script. Unlike other providers, we do not charge an additional fee to download a backup of your repositories - it is your data after all!
- Free Import Service
- We provide a free import service to allow you to import all your existing Subversion data, including full revision history of all your files. Simply upload a dump of your repository to your WebDAV area and let us know where it is and we will take care of the rest!

- All accounts receive unlimited free e-mail and ticket support through the Members section of the ProjectHut website. This support ticket system is hosted in a separate geographical location to the main ProjectHut account servers to ensure that you can still contact us in the unlikely event of a server failure or network outage preventing access to your account.
